No wind? No problem! No matter the condition, the NEW and improved XS Pulsator is the ticket to adding portable water motion to your spread. This Signature Higdon product has quickly become a staple for serious duck hunters who want to add a huge impact on their set-up with a one-piece, easy to use unit. Simply attach a decoy-cord and weight and drop into the water for a quick set-up. Unit has a built-in digital timer that surges a highly visible spray of water and significant surface water disturbance, creating an ultra-realistic rocking/feeding motion that drives ducks wild. Add multiple units to your spread and watch your decoys come to life. With bright, high-contrast paint and deep, realistic carving, Higdon's XHD Hyper-Feathering makes these beautiful decoys spring to life. The XS Pulsator has an internal 12V 3amp lithium ion battery and timer that is built within the decoy housing which eliminates a traditional battery box attachment. Lithium Ion batteries are more durable, smaller and lighter in weight and are longer lasting versus the traditional lead acid batteries. No external battery box means less bulk and less weight. A single XS Pulsator can fit into most slotted decoy bags for easy transport. Recommended water depth is water as shallow as 6 inches. Runtime: 7hrs. Fast recharge time of 3 hours. An additional battery can be added (sold separately) that will double the battery life. Package contents: decoy butt with attached 750GPH bilge pump, battery and timer pre-installed within the internal battery box, charger and operating instructions.

The wires on my pump broke on both of my xs models after 2seasons. Emailed Higdon on Sunday about them. Received a response on Monday telling me they were ordering me 2 new pumps. Came home on Wednesday and the pumps had been delivered. Definitely great customer service and I appreciate that in theses times where most companies take a month to respond and don’t want to make things right.
Higdon has earned my loyalty to the brand.
My pulsator worked for 1 1/2 hunting mornings before breaking. Contacted customer service and each time they sent me new parts to repair the wiring. It would work at home, but when put in water the pulsator wouldn't go for more than 30 minutes.
Customer service then sent me a brand new pulsator. I'm waiting to receive the new pulsator and hoping that this one is better than the first. My friends swear by this product, so I hope my first pulsator was just a lemon.
I also want to call-out that I would've given this product a 1 or 2 star if it wasn't for the amazing customer service reps. I was able to speak to a human in under 2 minutes each time and was off the phone was a solution within 10 minutes each time. Even if this next pulsator does not last, I think I'll be buying from Hidgon again
Thank you for your positive review! We truly appreciate your kind words.
A better design is needed for the exterior wiring. After only a few uses, the exterior wiring came loose on the charging port and stopped working. I was able to fix it and then reinforced it with an epoxy. It has not broken again since.
Unfortunately, the wiring on the opposite end into the pump itself just broke and there is no way to fix it.
It is disappointing that Higdon does not do something about this after seeing the wiring problem appear in several other reviews.
The current fix offered by Higdon is to charge $29 for an entire replacement pump. You can buy similar replacement pumps for $15 to $20 on Amazon to which you can add the plug.
Other than that, when the decoy works, it does add nice motion to the spread.
I have three of these Higdon Mallard Decoys. I am 64 yrs old. I often take the Pulsators and four Higdon Battleship mallards and set up in my favorite honey hole. The pulsators are absolutely the best. I rarely ever shoot at anything that doesn’t have its feet down nearly touching the water. I cannot recommend these with enough stars. They are the greatest product I have used in over 45 years of duck hunting. I might add… that if you have any issues with Higdon decoys, I have found that their customer service is the most helpful and accommodating I have seen.
If you buy these decoys, just don’t hunt anywhere near me. Lol
After receiving this decoy last week, I have used it in flooded corn twice. So far, it seems to add the necessary movement to my decoys to make the spread look more realistic. I’ve received many compliments from different members of the club and look forward to using this decoy in different weather conditions. Never keeping it out of my spread!
